Tériade for Editions Cahiers d'Art.Vibrant colors, in good condition, one of the 800, printed in 1928 on Torpes vellum paper (vélin de Torpes). Pochoir size: 8 x 6 3/8 inches (20cm x 16 cm); the full sheet size : 27,5cm x 21,8 cm - Framed : 30 cm x 24 cm

Fernand Léger, important french painter and mainly cubist, worked with the famous art review « Les Cahiers d’art » since the beginning of Les Cahiers d’art in 1926 until his death. He was the leading artist published by Les cahiers d’art.
This magnificent pochoir on Torpes vellum, title « The shell », in good condition, with so vibrant colours, came from the Fernand Léger’s monograph published in 1928 in a edition of 800, by E Tériade for Les Cahiers d’art.
Fernand Léger was one the main french artist from this artistic period.
